What is Export Subsidy?

Export Subsidy refers to Government incentives and benefits provided to eligible manufacturing units to encourage exports, increase international competitiveness and promote export growth.

Eligible manufacturing units located in Maharashtra may apply, subject to the prescribed export, product, registration and compliance conditions.

Pure trading and merchant export activities are generally not eligible. The policy mainly supports eligible manufacturing units.

Incremental Exports generally refer to the increase in export turnover over the prescribed base-year export performance.

Eligible units may receive incentives linked to incremental export growth and other admissible benefits under the policy, subject to applicable limits and conditions.

Common registrations include IEC, RCMC, GST Registration, Udyam Registration and other applicable export-related registrations.
